Where Do You Live?

Worry is a focus on an imperfect future.
Regret is dwelling on a perceived imperfect past.

Both are wasted energy; and neither accomplish anything productive.

One of the most important assets you’ve been given is your energy.

How you use your energy literally can determine your success and fulfillment or your frustration and failure.

Do you have enough energy?

Do you ever feel like you’re just tapped out?

Yeah, me too.

The first law of thermodynamics tells us basically that energy is unlimited and always present.

So how is it that you can feel so tapped out and tired?

The only time you’re not totally alive, wired, and inspired,
is when you’re doing something to disconnect yourself from your unlimited source.

There are many ways in which we rob ourselves of energy. Not the least of which is when we’re living in a mental construct of the past or future.

Time does not exist as we know it. Time past, future and present all coexist simultaneously in the now.1484_albert_einstein
~ Albert Einstein

You see, the individual on the road to true self-mastery has little time to waste his precious energy, worrying about a made up future where things are going sideways and turning out less than desirable.

You can’t worry enough to fix anything.

Nor does she waste energy dwelling on a past that’s less than “perfect” (whatever the hell that means), regretting the way in which she supposedly “screwed up.”

You can’t feel bad enough to make someone else feel good.
The past is past. It’s carved in stone and cannot be changed.
Learn from it. Let it go.

You see, those on the road to self-mastery practice conscious energy conservation. This is the first law of thermodynamics.

Thermodynamics and Physics tell us that energy is infinitely available. Why don’t you have more?

They can’t afford to burn this precious resource on things of imagination—worry and fantasy; and/or memory—regret. There’s too much work to be done right now?

Masters don’t have time to live in past or future.

Where do you live?

Past?

Future?

Or full-on NOW?

Be ruthlessly honest with yourself for there is no value whatsoever in lying to yourself.

The problem is you think you have time.

You don’t.

Time has you.

And like it or not, time is going to wipe you off the board before you know it; and certainly before you want it.

The only time you have is NOW.

Make the most of it.
