The greatest risk in today’s world is not taking a risk.
Bloomberg published an article in May of 2019 stating that 70% of the so-called leaders in today’s business world are “unfit to lead” as we rapidly move into the future.
There are several different reasons for this, but one of the major factors, according to Bloomberg, is that traditional leaders “don’t make decisions fast enough.”
Too many leaders want to analyze and tweak to perfection but never act. Whatever the word “perfection” means.
There is no perfection. Not really. There are only different grades of “perfected imperfection”.
In a Mach10 world, if you won’t “risk” imperfection, you take the bigger risk of death and obsolescence.

The authentic leader gathers all the information currently available and makes a decision.
In the moment of decision, he knows the information he has is incomplete. How could it not be?

There is no way you can know everything! Nonetheless, the leader must make decisions.
Making decisions is one of the most important aspects of true leadership.
Making decisions takes a willingness to risk. For there is no avoidance of risk in today’s world.
Not deciding is a much bigger risk.
What Are You Willing to Risk?
Taking risk is not taking a big chance.
Taking risk is giving yourself a big chance.
